Using Jeanette on Telegram — setup, formatting, and features.
Getting started
Open Telegram and search for @JeanetteAI_bot, or use the direct link: https://t.me/JeanetteAI_bot.
Press Start and begin talking naturally.

Message formatting
Telegram supports rich markdown formatting, and Jeanette takes full advantage of it:
- Bold, italic,
inline code - Code blocks with syntax highlighting
- Headers (displayed as bold)
- Bullet and numbered lists
- Links with custom anchor text
Telegram has a higher character limit than WhatsApp, so Jeanette can often deliver longer responses in a single message.
Replying to messages
Use Telegram's reply feature to add context to your message. Jeanette sees the original message you're replying to.
Telegram advantages over WhatsApp
- Richer formatting — headers, code blocks, better markdown support
- Faster delivery — typically lower latency than WhatsApp
- Longer single messages — fewer splits needed
- No phone number needed — just an account
Notifications
Jeanette sends scheduled task results, email alerts, and other notifications to Telegram. Ensure you have notifications enabled for the bot.
Privacy
Jeanette only has access to the messages you send her in your private chat. She cannot read group chats or other conversations.
