Gmail
Connect your Gmail account so Jeanette can read, draft, send, and monitor your email.
Connecting Gmail
You: Connect my Gmail account.
Jeanette: I'll send you a secure link to connect your Gmail. You'll be able to choose read-only or read-and-send access. [link]
Follow the OAuth flow. You can connect multiple Gmail accounts.
Access levels
Read-only — Jeanette can read and search your email but cannot send or draft messages.
Read and send — Jeanette can read, search, draft, and send emails on your behalf.
You can change the access level at any time from Dashboard → Skills → Gmail.
Reading email
You: Any important emails I should know about?
Jeanette: You have 3 emails that look worth your attention: (1) Invoice from Acme Corp for £2,400 — due Friday, (2) Meeting request from James at Barclays for next week, (3) A shipping confirmation for your order from Novapack.
You: Find all emails from sarah@company.com in the last week.
Jeanette: Found 4 emails from Sarah this week: ...
Searching email
Jeanette supports full Gmail search syntax:
You: Search my email for anything about the Henderson contract.
Jeanette: Found 8 emails matching "Henderson contract"...
You: Any unread emails from my bank in the last month?
Jeanette: Searching... Found 3 emails from Lloyds Bank, all unread...
Sending email
You: Send an email to james@company.com saying I'm available for a call Thursday 2–4pm.
Jeanette: Sending now... Done. Email sent to James confirming Thursday 2–4pm availability.
You: Draft a follow-up email to the Acme invoice and send it.
Jeanette: Here's the draft: [shows draft]. Shall I send it?
Email monitoring
With monitoring enabled, Jeanette watches your inbox in real time and alerts you when something important arrives:
Jeanette: You've just received an email from your accountant — subject: "Urgent: Tax return deadline". Want me to read it?
You can set custom monitoring instructions per email account:
You: For my Gmail, only alert me if it's from one of my key contacts or about an invoice.
Email threading
Jeanette maintains the context of email threads. When she reads or replies to a thread, she sees the full conversation history.
Multiple accounts
You can connect multiple Gmail (and Outlook) accounts. Jeanette will ask which account to use if it's ambiguous, or you can specify:
You: Check my work email for anything from the Berlin office.
