What is Jeanette?

Overview

Jeanette is a personal AI assistant you talk to through the messaging apps you already use — WhatsApp, Telegram, or the Jeanette web dashboard. Unlike a standard chatbot, Jeanette doesn't just answer questions. She takes real-world actions: reading your email, booking calendar slots, running web searches, scheduling recurring tasks, connecting to external APIs, and working in the background while you're away.

Every conversation with Jeanette is persistent. She remembers who you are, your preferences, your ongoing projects, and your connected accounts — so you never have to repeat yourself.

How Jeanette thinks

Jeanette uses Claude (by Anthropic) as her underlying AI model. She has access to a set of tools she can call to interact with the real world. When you send a message, Jeanette reads your request and your conversation history, reasons about what needs to happen, and calls whichever tools are needed — often several in sequence.

She reports her progress as she goes, so you can always see what she's doing.

What Jeanette is not

Jeanette is not a search engine, a chatbot FAQ, or a voice assistant. She is built for doing things, not just explaining them. If you tell her to "send a follow-up email to Sarah and schedule a call for next week", she will actually do both — she won't tell you how to do it yourself.
