Google Calendar

Jeanette can read, create, update, and delete events across your Google Calendar.

Connecting Google Calendar

Google Calendar is connected as part of the Google Workspace integration. When you connect Gmail, Jeanette will also ask if you'd like to enable calendar access.

You: Connect my Google Calendar.

Jeanette: I'll send you a link to connect Google Calendar. [link] Once connected, I can read your schedule, create events, send invites, and update or cancel existing bookings.

Viewing your calendar

You: What have I got on today?

Jeanette: Today, Thursday: 10am team standup (Google Meet), 1pm lunch with Marcus, 4pm client call — TechCorp quarterly review.

You: Am I free next Tuesday afternoon?

Jeanette: Tuesday afternoon is clear from 12pm onwards. You have nothing scheduled until 5pm.

You: What's coming up in the next two weeks?

Jeanette: Here's your next two weeks at a glance: ...

Creating events

You: Add a dentist appointment on Friday 3pm for an hour.

Jeanette: Done — dentist appointment added: Friday 3–4pm.

You: Schedule a meeting with james@company.com for 45 minutes next Monday. Subject: Q2 planning.

Jeanette: Created: Q2 planning, Monday 10am for 45 minutes. Invite sent to James.

You: Block out the whole of Thursday for focused work — no meetings.

Jeanette: "Focus day" all-day block added for Thursday.

Updating events

You: Move my 3pm dentist on Friday to 4pm.

Jeanette: Done — dentist appointment moved to 4pm Friday.

You: Add a Google Meet link to the Q2 planning meeting.

Jeanette: Updated — Google Meet link added to the Q2 planning event.

Cancelling events

You: Cancel the client call on Friday.

Jeanette: Cancelled — the TechCorp call has been removed from your calendar. Would you like me to notify the attendees?

Multiple calendars

If you have multiple calendars (personal, work, family), Jeanette can list them and will ask which one to use for new events, or you can set a default.

You: Use my Work calendar for all new events by default.

Calendar in scheduled tasks

Your calendar is available within scheduled tasks. For example:

You: Every Sunday evening, look at my calendar for next week and send me a summary of what's coming up.
