Quick Start

1. Open WhatsApp or Telegram

Jeanette lives in the messaging apps you already use. No new app required.

2. Say hello

Start with a simple message. Jeanette will introduce herself and ask a few questions to get to know you.

You: Hi, I'm Richard. I'm based in London.

Jeanette: Hi Richard! Great to meet you. I've noted that you're based in London — I'll use that for things like weather, local time, and any bookings. What can I help you with today?

She'll remember your name, location, and preferences across all future conversations.

3. Try something real

Ask Jeanette to do something useful right away.

You: What's the weather like in London this week?

Jeanette: Here's the forecast for London this week: Monday 14°C with light showers, Tuesday 16°C sunny, Wednesday 13°C overcast...

You: Search the web for the best noise-cancelling headphones under £200 and give me a quick summary.

Jeanette: I'll search that now... Based on current reviews, the top picks under £200 are: Sony WH-1000XM5 (refurb), Anker Soundcore Q45, and the Jabra Evolve2 55...

4. Connect your accounts (optional)

To use email and calendar features, link your Google account:

You: Connect my Gmail

Jeanette: I'll send you a link to connect your Gmail account. Once connected, I can read your inbox, draft and send emails, and manage your calendar.

Follow the OAuth link Jeanette sends you. You can choose read-only or read-and-send access.

5. Set up a recurring task

You: Every weekday morning at 7:30am, send me a summary of my day — my calendar events, any urgent emails, and the weather in London.

Jeanette: Got it. I've scheduled a daily briefing for weekdays at 7:30am London time. It'll include your calendar, email highlights, and the weather. I'll send it here on WhatsApp.

That's it. Jeanette will run that automatically every morning.

Tips

• You don't need to phrase requests in any special way — talk to Jeanette the same way you'd talk to a human assistant.
• If Jeanette isn't sure what you want, she'll ask a clarifying question.
• You can change her name, set custom instructions, and adjust settings through the web dashboard.
